Meet the Shea
Behind SheaMade
Hi, I’m Kevin Shea. I’ve made some things.
Most of the time that means chasing an idea. Sometimes it stays a sketch, sometimes it becomes a design, and sometimes it ends up as something you can touch. Some of those ideas start with my own curiosity. Others grow out of conversations or collaborations and take on a life of their own.
I’m an artist, builder, and problem-solver currently based in Central Florida, working somewhere at the intersection of storytelling and design. For me it has always been about the process. That approach lets me blend traditional techniques with modern ideas while exploring wherever a project wants to go.
I’ve spent my life chasing ideas. This is simply where many of those ideas eventually land.
I’m not even sure where the beginning was anymore.
Treehouses and skate ramps came early, along with figuring out how to build things that didn’t exist yet.
Automotive fabrication, fiberglass work, metalwork, graphic design, photography, building things, learning materials, figuring out how things are made. Every new idea seemed to come with a new skill to learn.
I’ve spent most of my life collecting creative skills. Somewhere along the way they stopped feeling like separate interests and started contributing to the same thing.
